As soon-to-be first time parents four years ago, my husband and I researched cloth diapering and felt completely overwhelmed. There were so many choices, but we really had no way of knowing what would work for us. Not only that, we didn't know the first thing about how to wash or care for them. We wanted to use them for the health benefits and for the environment, but were afraid to take the plunge and make the investment. We knew in a house with two working parents that it would be a challenge that we didn't have enough support to conquer. When we finally made the switch to cloth, we wished we had done it sooner. It was so much easier than we thought it would be! Our daughter Mallory potty trained quickly at age 2 at her own request, and we now use the diapers on our 10 month old son, Nolan Walker.
